File name

This control symbol allows you to set the file name of the generated document. You must enter a file extension.

Select format

This control symbol allows you to select the file type you want to generate via gotomaxx PDFMAILER.

Activate PDF/A generation

This control symbol allows you to activate or deactivate the PDF/A generation.

Activate/deactivate preview

This control symbol allows you to activates or deactivates the preview that is shown after printing a document.

With the preview deactivated, gotomaxx PDFMAILER performs all functions enabled “Multi Start”

or that were forwarded via acontrol symbol.

Divide print job into multiple documents

This control symbol allows you to divide a large print job into several single documents.

gotomaxx PDFMAILER will start a new document after each page containing the control symbol.

This may be useful for processing a spooling job in Microsoft Word.

Please note that control symbols must always be placed at the start of a line.

Remove pages from a print job

This control symbol allows you to remove the page on which the control symbol appears from the PDF document created in PDFMAILER.

Integrate a control symbol from an external file

This control symbol allows you to insert control symbols from an external text file into a document to be processed in

PDFMAILER.

Activate collect function

This control symbol allows you to define the options for processing your print job.

The control symbol must be present in every document to be collected.

Please note that the PDFMAILER preview must be activated for collective processing (collection).

Start processing after collection

This control symbol initiates the processing of the most recently collected documents in gotomaxx PDFMAILER.

We highly recommend using the virtual print stack feature to fully automate the collection process..
