There are two basic options for converting a document to PDF format using gotomaxx PDFMAILER.

The PDFMAILER application

You can find the PDFMAILER application via your start menu “Start -> All programs -> gotomaxx PDFMAILER 6 -> gotomaxx PDFMAILER 6”. Alternatively, you can convert existing documents to PDF format via drag and drop.

Simply drag and drop the document into the relevant area.

PDFMAILER will now display a preview of the document.

 

You can now see a preview of your document and can process it using a selected action (e.g. via Quick Start).

 

The PDFMAILER application can process the following file types:

 

•PDF

•DOC/DOCX*

•XLS/XLSX*

•PPT/PPTX*

•TXT*

 

*Microsoft Office must be installed to process these files.

The PDFMAILER printer

After installing gotomaxx PDFMAILER, you can find the virtual printer “gotomaxx PDFMAILER 6” in your list of printers. All documents printed via this printer can be converted to PDF and processed.

Open the application with which you created the document you want to convert to PDF. Use the print function of the application to print the document via the gotomaxx PDFMAILER 6 printer.

You can now see a preview of your document and can process it using a selected action (e.g. via Quick Start).
